Arrogance? Or just self-protection?

After a topsy turvy week I started and finished the two-part series on arrogance I promised Marilyn at Communicating Across Boundaries. You can read the first one, a personal account, here.

A little taster:

"One side of the story is arrogance. The other side is pain and fear. But both sides are true. For me the question is: can you get through pain and fear without arrogance as a young person? And how?"

Follow up: Read what I wrote here to a 20 year old TCK about how to get over the grief and pain and fear he feels right now. This three part series was sparked by his email to me after reading the arrogance articles.
