Yes, I like craft.

Crafts I've been into, mostly in a pathetically small sort of way: paper making, tapestry, knitting, quilting, felting, sewing clothes, sketching, illustrating, upholstery, furniture restoration, carpentry. My brother says I am susceptible to fads. I prefer to think of it as having a well-rounded life.

I've just finished building and decorating a dollshouse which I purchased as a kit from Kangaroo Valley Woodcrafts. Here's the finished product.

I currently have a couple of quilts on the go, having just been given the biggest fabric stash in the known universe. Here are some of my quilting efforts from past years.

Making. Bracelets and bling

How sweet are these gorgeous bracelets? They are knitted out of wire by my friend Gill. She made these for her nieces for Christmas, but she's willing to take orders. $25 plus postage will get you one. Drop me a line to order.

Making. Christmas is coming

It's so unfortunate that all my Christmas present giv-ees read my blog. It means I can't post pictures of the things I'm making them for Christmas. I'll have to wait until late December and share it all then.

*Sigh*

Making. Itty Bitty Dress

My sister in law loved this poppy fabric from my new stash, so I made her toddler a dress from it. I found the pattern at Made By Rae and with no fastening or buttons it is really really easy.

Dollshouse. Decorating is done

Welcome to my new house. It's been built and decorated, and is just waiting for its furniture to arrive. Come in and I'll give you the tour.
Here we are, approaching the front of the house. The windows are in and the paintwork has come up well.
The 'front door' was just for show. This is how you really get into it.
It's all done. I'm very pleased with it, and now I've just got to save up to buy some furniture for it. (What's there is borrowed from my daughter.)
