Cecily Anne Paterson is the author of the Invisible series written for an early YA (age 11-14) audience, including Invisible, Invincible and Being Jazmine. She has also written the Coco and Charlie Franks series and four books for age 9 to 12 year olds in the Kangaroo Valley School series, Lola in the Middle, Smart Girls Don’t Wear Mascara, How Not To Be Popular and The Ava Show.
Cecily Paterson is also joint author of the Pet Sitters series for junior readers, under the name Ella Shine. She writes these books with her friend Penny Reeve.
Cecily Paterson has written a memoir called Love Tears & Autism for adults.

Cecily Anne Paterson is Australian. From age 3 to 16 she lived in Pakistan as her parents worked there. She went to boarding school in the Himalayan mountains from Grade 6 to Grade 10 before coming back to Australia to finish high school.
These days she lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and children, together with a very cuddly little black dog.
