Happy words.

It's amazing how a few good words of feedback can change your day.

I've been sitting here today feeling unbelievably grumpy - about nothing in particular and everything in general, thinking 'I do all this work and never seem to see the results of it rah rah rah' and then I get a phone call from a boy in JJ's class who has read my manuscript of Invisible who said, "Your book is super duperly wonderful."

I felt so, so much better. Then, when I turned on the email, I received a message from his mum, of the comments that he wrote down while reading it. They read as follows:

  • ·         I really like the start
  • ·         This is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jazmine has changed so much!!!!!
  • ·         This is one of my favourite books
  • ·          Best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\\

So, thanks Oliver. You made my day.
