Pink and green quilt

With encouragement from Sophie, here is the quilt I have just completed for my baby Coco. Obviously, it's bigger than a cot quilt. There's nothing like thinking ahead for when she moves into her bed.

The material was all given to me by a friend who had made a quilt for her daughter out of it. Obviously she overestimated her meterage! She did alternate white squares with applique with print squares. I decided it would be a whole lot easier to put big strips together, but it needed a lift, so some rickrack from the sewing shop in Berry did the job quite nicely. It's machine quilted in strips... very simple and fast.
